Getting started with Synerion
With Daemen being a smaller university, Eden has to be mindful of things like cost and budget when implementing new tools. Since Daemen has been an ADP client for over 10 years, Eden turned to her existing resources at ADP when her team began exploring options for digitizing student employee timecards.
“We wanted something that we could eventually use on a campus-wide basis for student employment and something we could customize,” says Eden. “When I reached out to ADP, they put us in touch with Synerion, which is a digital timecard system compatible with our ADP payroll platform.”
Eden worked with her supervisor and a handful of department heads when evaluating the product. Once they decided to take the plunge, Synerion developed an implementation timeline and stuck to it. Now that the system is up and running, they’ve been rolling out the process to student employee groups across campus.
