Challenges

  • Employees were not getting paid on time and Gusto’s customer service was not an easy or helpful experience.

How ADP helped

  • The switch to RUN Powered by ADP was easy, helping to ensure employees were paid when expected. And the app makes running payroll from anywhere easy and convenient.

My employees were not getting paid on time

I started working with Gusto as soon as I opened the company because I was trying to save money anywhere I could. But after a while, it became clear that I wasn’t getting what I needed. My employees were not getting paid on time — there was always some kind of delay.

ADP made it easy to switch

When I worked for Brinks and other big security companies, they always used ADP. So, I called them, and an ADP representative spent an hour on the phone answering all my questions. He was definitely a good person and gave me the whole rundown. We ended up signing over immediately, and there were no upfront costs, which was great.

The ADP app lets me run payroll from anywhere

Being able to run payroll on our phones is a huge help. And if we’re ever having a busy day and forget that it’s time to run payroll, ADP sends us a text message alert to remind us. And running payroll on ADP takes a lot less time than it did with Gusto, and there’s never any lag time.

There are some things you shouldn’t cut costs on

I only have good things to say about my experience and would recommend ADP to anyone. It’s good to be careful with money, but there are certain things you just shouldn’t cut costs on.
