Message from Our CEO

At ADP, the slogan “In the Business of Your Success” goes beyond the commitment we make to our clients to provide quality services and solutions to move their business forward.  It also means that we support diverse businesses in the communities where we live and conduct business. We are proud members of many communities around the world, and we take our obligations as a corporate citizen very seriously.

Mission Statement

As a global leader in business outsourcing solutions, ADP recognizes that creating partnerships with diverse suppliers is a major competitive advantage and a powerful business tool.  ADP’s supplier diversity mission is to build relationships with and purchase goods and services from certified diverse enterprises owned by minorities, women, veterans and lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender that can help ADP achieve its growth objectives.

Our Objectives Include:

  • Actively seeking certified diverse suppliers.
  • Ensuring the inclusion of diverse suppliers as a part of our strategic sourcing and
    procurement process.
  • Communicating the value of supplier diversity both internally and externally to all stakeholders.
  • Leveraging our supplier diversity results to meet our client’s supplier diversity requirements.

We will measure our success based upon our ability to attain and exceed these objectives.

Program Participant Qualifications

To participate in the ADP Supplier Diversity Process, a business must be at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by member(s) from one of the following targeted enterprises or other businesses recognized by the SBA:

  • Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE)
    – Hispanic
    – African American
    – Asian
    – Native American
  • Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE)
  • Veteran-owned Business Enterprise (VBE)
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT)

Certification

To help ensure that our bidding opportunities reach all eligible diverse businesses, ADP works in conjunction with and accepts third-party certification from the following organizations and councils:

  • Affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
  • Affiliates of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
  • Certification from additional city, state, or Federal agencies may also apply

To participate in the ADP Supplier Diversity Process, a company must have a current third-party certification from one of the above organizations.

Register as a Supplier

If you qualify as a diverse business and possess a current certification from a certifying agency such as NMSDC, WBENC, NGLCC or a city, state or federal agency, you are invited to complete our online supplier profile. By completing this profile, your company information will be entered into our database of potential suppliers.

Please be aware that this registration does not qualify you as an approved supplier. This step is the beginning of the process that allows your company information to be made available to ADP's procurement team for potential opportunities.

Tracking and Reporting – monitoring and reporting our progress toward achieving our supplier diversity goals and objectives with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

Training and Education – helping to ensure that associates in decision-making positions throughout our organization understand ADP’s supplier diversity principles and commitment.

External Outreach Activities – seeking diverse suppliers through active involvement with national and regional minority business development organizations and participation in   matchmaking and procurement events.

Communications – educating employees, management, diverse suppliers, and the community-at-large on our supplier diversity process, policies and achievements.

Tier Two Program – working with ADP prime suppliers to achieve supplier diversity at multitiered levels within our supply chain.

Awards Program and Recognition – highlighting and rewarding the hard work and outstanding efforts of our employees, suppliers and community partners.
