Phishing Campaign: “ADP Generated Message: Activate Your Email Address” “ADP SecureMail – Do Not reply” “RunPayroll: Your security questions has been reset”

September 17, 2018

ADP has received reports regarding fraudulent emails being sent to ADP clients from email addresses that have the following format XXXX@unh.edu with multiple subject lines including “ADP Generated Message: Activate Now” or “ADP SecureMail – Do Not Reply” Or “RunPayroll: Your security questions has been reset” . These emails instruct the recipients to click on a phishing link which then brings the recipient to a cloned myADP page.

These emails do not originate from ADP and our analysis has revealed that they may contain malicious content. We’re working with our fraud prevention team and anti-phishing vendor to address this incident. Please see the example below which may vary in content and sender.
