Diversity & Inclusion: Promoting Awareness and Inclusion

At ADP, we believe that differences are what make us a stronger, smarter, more successful organization, and we believe the same to be true in our communities.

Promoting Awareness and Inclusion

Domestic partner and transgender benefits

We provide domestic partner and transgender benefits to our associates, showcasing our commitment to equality.

Business Resource Groups (BRG)

We have several Business Resource Groups (BRG) that help connect ADP associates to each other and support various groups within the company, including groups for Women in Leadership, African-American, Latino, LGBT associates, military, and virtual/ home-shored associates. Our BRG collaboration board is also active in providing centralized leadership and ensuring goal alignment between all the BRGs.

Regional Councils, Local Engagement and Diversity Committees

Through our Regional Councils and numerous Local Engagement and Diversity Committees, ADP engages leaders and associates throughout the U.S. to help execute its Diversity & Inclusion priorities. The Council and Committee “Chairs” are appointed by senior leadership in conjunction with the Office of Diversity. These roles are leveraged as leadership development and stretch assignments.

Heritage and History

Throughout the year in the United States, we celebrate the heritage and history of our associates by offering special programming for nationally designated months. Examples include Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, National Disability Employment Awareness, and LGBT Pride Month, to name a few.

Diversity & Inclusion Summit

ADP holds an annual Diversity & Inclusion Summit, bringing together our Diversity Champions from around the world. The summit serves as an opportunity for leadership and associates to come together to drive common goals and consistency across the business as well as to inspire, educate and develop those that execute on our diversity initiatives.

Through the ADP Foundation, the company supports non-profit organizations focused on enabling diversity, which represents approximately 15 percent of the total number of grants issued.
