A message for all ADP’s clients and business partners:
The New ADP Secure Email System will be activated on July 31, 2008!
As part of ADP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security and to protect sensitive information, we are rolling out a new Secure Email system to replace the current technology. Our objective is to provide a much more convenient method for you to receive and reply to secure emails, while continuing to ensure the integrity of the information interchange.
Will I have to install new software or register for the new system?No new software is required on your system. The first time you use the new secure email system, you will be asked to create a password. You will also select a password recovery question / answer (such as “What is your mother’s maiden name?”) that will allow you to change your password. There are no other registration requirements.
What about messages sent from the old system?Once the new system has been activated, the old system will no longer be used to send secure emails, but the standard time period for recipients to retrieve messages already sent via the old system will be honored.
How will the new system be different?The new system includes several features that will greatly improve the ease-of-use of secure email: You will no longer have to retrieve secure email messages sent from ADP, so secure email messages will no longer expire before you get them. Also, you will be able to initiate secure email messages to ADP Associates.
How will I receive secure email messages from ADP? Secure email messages (and any attached files) from ADP will be encrypted before they are sent, and then delivered directly to your inbox. When you open the message you will be prompted to enter your password, which will decrypt the message (and any attached files). You can then save, reply to, or forward the message and files.
Are there reply capabilities? Can I initiate a secure email to an ADP Associate? You can respond to ADP secure emails with secure replies, and there is also a method for initiating secure email exchanges with ADP associates.
